Angels

Despite contemporary skepticism of things supernatural, there remains an extraordinary fascination with angels. They are the subject of best sellers, the topic of Hollywood talk shows, and the source of millions of dollars for the makers of angel artifacts.

Materialism has betrayed us. Religion has tranquilized us. Traditional standards of morality have been jettisoned. What's left? Angels?

Faced with this strange cosmological interest, where can we find reliable information about angels? The safest place to look is in the Bible. Like the Apostle Paul, we should ask, “What does the Scripture say?” (Romans 4:3)

Author info: John Williams received his formal and theological education in England and was commended to Christian service  by three British assemblies in 1951. He lives with his wife Audrey (a fourth generation Canadian) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. They have served in teaching and pastoral ministries in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Detroit, Michigan; Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
