Emmaus Worldwide Announces Leadership Transition Effective June 21st, 2024

- Patrick Clough -

Patrick has served the ministry of Emmaus Worldwide as Mission Advancement Director since September of last year. Since that time, he has been instrumental in increasing awareness of the ministry, connecting with ministry partners, and helping to shape the direction of the ministry. Patrick brings a contagious enthusiasm for the ministry of Emmaus Worldwide, and has personally benefited from the Emmaus Worldwide materials both in personal Bible study and in his family’s homeschool.

Patrick has been involved in a variety of ministry activities for much of his adult life, including itinerant speaking, teaching at his local assemblies, worship leading, local evangelism, church planting and serving with technology needs. He has a passion for the transforming power of God’s Word and seeing it taken forth to every nation, tribe and tongue. In addition to the various ministries he has been involved in, Patrick’s professional background is in the software field. Before leaving this field to join Emmaus Worldwide in September 2023, he spent a 16 year career leading software development teams, building processes and procedures from the ground up, and driving the delivery of quality software platforms. Patrick is a visionary leader with multifaceted skills and experiences across leadership, tech, communication, and strategic planning.

Patrick has been married to his wife Carrie for 22 years, and has 9 children - ages 19 (married) down to 2 months old. His family relocated to the Dubuque area earlier this month, and was in fellowship at Cedar Rapids Bible Chapel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa prior to that. We look forward to seeing the Lord work through his passion for God’s Word and zeal for the ministry of Emmaus Worldwide.

We are so very thankful for his predecessor, Mark Presson, for his exemplary service as Interim Executive Director over the past 7 months. Under Mark’s leadership, Emmaus Worldwide solidified its mission and vision for the future and made important strides forward on a number of important initiatives. Emmaus Worldwide is thankful that Mark will rejoin the board of directors and resume his role as Treasurer.
