Dr. Charles C. Ryrie
For over 70 years, Dr. Charles Ryrie (1925–2016) proclaimed God’s Word through both writing and teaching ministries. Yesterday, just weeks before his 90th birthday, he went on to heaven to meet the Savior he so faithfully served.
Although best known for his work on The Ryrie Study Bible, Dr. Ryrie wrote more than 50 other books. Among those are three well-known and respected resources published by ECS Ministries:

The impact of Dr. Ryrie’s life in helping people know the Bible was immense. He made complex theology understandable—and his books continue to guide people to a better appreciation for and application of God’s Word to their lives.
