Emmaus Resources Now Available at No Cost

After much prayer and discussion, beginning July 1, 2026, Emmaus Worldwide will begin providing resources through our home office without charge.

For many years, much of the Emmaus ministry around the world has operated on a freely given basis, with resources being provided through the Lord’s provision and the generosity of His people. As we have sought the Lord’s direction for the future of the ministry, we have become convinced that our home office should embrace that same philosophy.

This transition represents more than a change in distribution. It is a step of faith. Rather than relying on the sale of resources to support the ministry, we are choosing to align our home office distribution model with a “freely given” approach—one rooted in our Lord’s instruction, “Freely you have received; freely give” (Matthew 10:8)—that has characterized much of the Emmaus work around the world.

We believe the Lord is opening the door for greater participation in the ministry and greater impact in the years ahead. We are grateful for your continued partnership as together we trust Him for all that lies ahead.

Important Dates

Monday, June 22 – Last day to place a large or multiple-box order if you would like it shipped before July.
Thursday, June 25 – Last day to place a small order if you would like it shipped before July.
June 29–July 4 – No shipping. During this time, we will be conducting inventory and transitioning from our sales model to freely given distribution.
Beginning July 6 – Resource requests will be processed and shipped under the new freely given model as they are received.

Why is Emmaus Worldwide making resources available without charge?

After much prayer and discussion, we believe this approach better reflects our desire to place ministry ahead of transaction, remove unnecessary barriers to access, and trust the Lord to provide for His work through His people.

For almost 84 years, God has faithfully sustained the ministry of Emmaus Worldwide. We are confident He will continue to do so.

When does this change take effect?

This change takes effect on July 1, 2026.

What resources are included?

All resources distributed through Emmaus Worldwide's home office are now available without charge, including Bible courses and many supporting study materials.

How do I order resources?

Simply visit our website, browse the resources you need, and place an order.

If you prefer, you may also contact our office directly and we will be happy to assist you.

Is there really no charge?

That's correct. Resources may be requested without payment.

Our desire is that anyone who can benefit from Emmaus resources will have access to them regardless of financial circumstances.

Then how is the ministry funded?

Emmaus Worldwide continues to rely on the Lord's provision through the prayers, generosity, and partnership of His people.

While resources are available without charge, individuals, assemblies, and ministries may choose to support the work financially as the Lord leads.

Am I expected to make a donation when I place an order?

No.

Resources are available whether or not a gift is made.

If the Lord leads you to support the ministry financially, we are grateful. If not, we are still delighted to provide the resources.

Can I still support Emmaus Worldwide financially?

Absolutely.

Financial gifts help support the development, printing, distribution, translation, and digital delivery of Emmaus resources throughout North America and around the world.

May I order resources for my assembly, Bible study, prison ministry, or outreach effort?

Yes.

We encourage churches, assemblies, ministries, and individuals to use Emmaus resources in discipleship, evangelism, Bible studies, prison ministry, and personal growth.

Can I order large quantities?

Yes.

We want resources to be widely used. For especially large requests, our team may contact you to discuss your ministry needs and ensure resources are available to serve as many people as possible.

May I resell Emmaus resources?

No.

Resources received from Emmaus Worldwide on or after July 1, 2026, are intended to be distributed freely for ministry use and should not be resold.

Organizations or individuals with inventory purchased prior to July 1 may continue to distribute or sell that inventory at their discretion.

Will this affect the quality or availability of resources?

Our commitment to providing biblically sound, high-quality discipleship resources remains unchanged.

We continue to develop, print, distribute, and improve resources as the Lord provides.

Why make this change now?

Over the years, we have witnessed the Lord blessing ministry efforts built around freely accessible resources and the generous support of His people.

This transition aligns our North American distribution model more closely with the ministry philosophy already used throughout much of the world and allows us to focus more fully on helping people know Christ, grow in Him, and share Him with others.

Are you eliminating printed resources?

No.

This change affects how resources are distributed, not whether they are printed. Emmaus Worldwide remains committed to providing printed Bible courses and study materials as the Lord enables.

In fact, our desire is to place more resources into the hands of more people than ever before. Printed resources will continue to play an important role in discipleship, evangelism, prison ministry, and personal Bible study.

Is shipping free?

Yes.

Resources distributed through Emmaus Worldwide's home office are provided without charge, including shipping.

Our desire is to remove barriers that might prevent individuals, assemblies, ministries, or outreach efforts from accessing biblically sound discipleship materials.

As always, we trust the Lord to provide for the costs of printing, storing, and shipping resources through the generosity of His people.
