Emmaus courses are digitally accessible to incarcerated individuals through Edovo, a secure educational platform used on tablets inside correctional facilities nationwide.
We do not own Edovo, but your support allows us to place and maintain Emmaus courses on their platform—ensuring inmates have ongoing access to biblically sound study materials.
Since launching on Edovo, incarcerated learners have started 1,497,381 Emmaus lessons and completed 1,401,007 of them—an extraordinary 93% completion rate compared to the typical 12% seen in most digital prison education programs. Emmaus courses are now available in 1,409 prisons and prison networks across the United States, with thousands of men and women studying God’s Word every single day through their tablets.

My name is Randy, and through the graciousness of a staff member here at "this" Correctional Institution in Badin, North Carolina, where I am currently housed for a 1996 murder conviction, I'm part of a small group of men each from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious affiliations, but all sharing a common interest. That is to strengthen our relationship with God (in the Bible). Our group gathers two to three times a week, and although none of us carry the title of group leader, I'm the person, more often the none who takes the initiative to coordinate our gatherings.
The information that I was provided with included your address and the name of a course titled “Overcoming Abuse,” which I accessed through the prison-issued tablet. It has been very instrumental for us seeking spiritual growth as well as increased our interest in learning more.
