Three women will be considered in this study: Mary, the mother of Jesus; Mary of Bethany; and Mary Magdalene. All were close to the Lord--their relationships being family, friend, and follower, respectively. By looking at their attitudes and abilities we will see how the grace of God can enable us to use our potential for the glory and honor of the Lord Jesus.

Author info: Mary King was a keen Emmaus student back in the seventies and her familiarity with the style of the correspondence courses and her own Bible studies led her to write ‘The Three Marys’ and offer it to Emmaus UK for publication. It was accepted and so began a long association with Emmaus, with her husband Barry becoming a member of the board of trustees in England. Retired now, Mary and her husband live in Plymouth, Devon, UK and are part of an active assembly in the city.
